FOR JANE AUGENSTEIN.......sorry not Tom

Sorry Jane haven't been able to find Tom....yet......swoon. But if I remember correctly from your Blog Seabiscuit is one of your favourite films. This is a photo of Seabiscuit with Red Pollard up before a work out. It was a gift from a friend not sure if it's original but it is on photo matter I love it and I'm sure it will give you some pleasure as well :)

OMG!!! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful picture! Yes, I do love the movie Seabiscuit, and have never seen a picture like these of the beautiful horse. What a beautiful horse the Biscuit was! I use to call Gilly Seabiscuit because of his bad start in life. Kind of an underdog but that turned out to be something very special.
I had just the week before I got Gilly watched the movie "Seabiscuit" and I remember what the trainer had said about the lame horse he was taking care of. "You don't through a whole life away just because it's a little banged up"
I remember thinking about that when I first saw little skinny, ugly duckling Gilly (his name was Davy back then!) I didn't care if he grew up and I could ride him, I just wanted to save his life and give him a good home and good food to eat. I have been rewarded well, for my love and care of him; he has turned into a beautiful creature!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful prized picture with me and all!

Glad you liked it Jane...was sure you would. His is a wonderful story determination over adversity and a lesson we could all remember at times.....never to give up when the going gets a little rough. He came at a time when people needed a hero....a little man who was anything but perfect but with the heart of a lion and the will to survive. We could do with one of those right now :)
