WIP.....BLACK CALF

I know there's nothing to look at but a very rough drawing but sometimes theres a lot of time taken up in that rough drawing. I like to think of them as my little maps, there to show the way. At least I'm ready to start straight off tomorrow morning.

I think the initial drawing also sets up our composition, which is so crucial to the whole painting! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Melody I do think the basis of any painting is the drawing it doesn't even have to be a perfect one because as with life you can make alterations as you go.....but there has to be a starting point. It also means you can put a mark on that scary blank canvas lol
