VIEW FROM THE HILL ACRYLIC 8X8

View From The Hill
Acrylic 8x8 £250- or £225- unframed SOLD
Available from Elizabeth McCrindle's Art From Scotland website

Love this time of year when work is going on through the land changing the colour and texture of it on a daily basis. Loved the freshly cut fields where the silage has been taken making patchwork quilts on the land.
Enjoy your art where ever you are :))

What a masterful painting! It looks like a plein air painting because you've captured the atmosphere so well

Thanks Carey for visiting and for the lovely comments about my work :)

This looks like what I've always imagined Scotland to look like!

Well Gail this is what it's like around me in Ayrshire and it has it's own beauty but to get Scotland in all her Majesty you have to go further North....that's worth paying money too see :))

Thanks Melody I think the secret to a good painting is too love your subject. I'm an outside person I love standing on a hill soaking in the atmosphere like a sponge. I love the feeling when it all comes together in a painting and someone else then sees what I saw :))

This is lovely, Elizabeth. I feel more relaxed just looking at it.

Thank you Gwen I'm glad you like it and even more glad that it makes you feel relaxed. I was relaxed painting it...no need to paint every tree or hedge in the right spot just find the feel of the land and let the paint flow :)
