First Frost
Acrylic 6x8
After the nippy weather we had this week I was inspired to paint this wee landscape. I loved the little dots of colour picked up from the hawthorn berries and the autumn leaves. The few stubborn leaves that are hanging on won't last for much longer in this cold spell.
The two photos were taken this morning on my walk. I had hoped to get the swans but they are still to far away but making plenty of noise. Maybe this is their yearly get together and they're chattering about what's been happening over the summer lol.
Thanks as always for taking the time to look and all your comments are much appreciated :)
Hot Frost

Not much of a sting will be left on this nettle!

We've just had light frosts which is fine. Love the little painting and the photos are super.

The one good thing I find about frosty mornings is that it almost always becomes a lovely sunny day. I'm enjoying doing these little paintings. There is a freedom about creating them that is missing with most of the equine studies.
