This painting was actually owned by a client of mine!! I didn't see the original...they sold it (how dare they want that $2million! haha) but Christie's gave them a transparency so they could make a giclée...I guess they're allowed to do that. So I did that for them...that was spectacular, so I can only imagine the original. Don't know that I could have given it up, $2million or no! Ha, it's only money!!

WOW Linda that's amazing I guess if the wolves are baying at the door you might have to part with it...but I'm with you I'd be fighting tooth and nail to hold on...sigh! Money is so boring too look at :))

I have a scan of the transparency that I have unabashedly kept on my external drive to look at and study now and again! Not quite the same as the real thing...but...!

I gave the giclée to them at the yearling sale last year and it was very funny - it attracted a lot of attention, naturally, and she kept telling people I was the artist...hahaha...sad that not too many knew she was joking!

Theres another one of Mon Talisman thats quite similar will have to have a look for that...sadly my copies are cut out of magazines lol!
