TRY TRY AGAIN.....

Today's sketch
Wednesday's post of the drawing has being bugging me so today I had another try and I'm much happier with this one. You can compare it with Wednesday's below and I hope you'll agree. I don't think I'll every make a graphite artist but I've thoroughly enjoyed it.....very relaxing.

I like today's sketch better too. You can see that some of the horse's features are more robust in the face and the underbelly. Sorry, my terminology may be off.

There have been many times that I've felt I could do better with something that I've done and usually I'm right; the 2nd or even third try is WAY better.

There is something to be said about "sleeping on it." When we sleep our minds filter out all the things that we have taken in during a day and refines what we work really hard on.

Thanks for your comment Mary and I couldn't agree more. Not sure if I can call myself a perfectionist but I just felt I had to try again with this one :)

Actually both have good points although the second one is finished out more. I enjoy sketching and don't have the opportunity to do much these days.

Thanks Ruth thats music to my ears I was trying to convey that terrifying break neck speed that these little foals are capable off. Short bursts of energy followed by collapse lol
