Almost done......

Getting near to completing Sal's portrait, taking progress photos helps me to notice things I might miss on the easel. Perhaps being so close to the easel when  painting means I miss something. It becomes glaringly obvious when I see it on the screen. On another note I thankfully seem to have got over the physical problems I was having with oils...phew so this should be done this weekend.

Thank you for the great idea of taking progress photos to aid in corrections. I've used the mirror technique but never tried photos.

I use the mirror technique as well Deb you can see instantly if there's an inbalance, especially with portraits.
