Art thou the bird whom man loves best
The pious bird with the scarlet breast
Our little Robin;
The bird that comes about our doors
When Autumn winds are sobbing!

Robins always look so bright on a grey winters day. Hope the hairy monster is going ok?

I love this little fellow ... wonderful photo! I just got a new zoom lens yesterday, after making do with a wide angle for almost a year, and I'm having great fun zooming in on dogs, cats, cows and horses when they're unsuspecting. Haven't caught a bird yet, but I'll keep trying! Looking forward to more progress on your "Mini Mammoth."

Isn't he just, I love the wee Robins they can't fail to make me smile. Sounds like you will be having fun with your new lens. The dogs and cats will be sighing everytime they see you with a camera...lol
