Took down the Christmas decorations today in an attempt to get back to normality. The house feels a little strange without her baubles. Add to that the last few days have been a bit dull and today was no different. So, to brighten myself up I did a sunny landscape swamped with a big cotton wool ball sky. Instant sunshine....smile! LOVE that sky ... lovely sunny little painting! Can hardly wait until spring, myself. I’m NOT a winter person. (Preparing for a below-freezing night with only the gas logs to keep us warm ... repair man comes tomorrow to fix our central heat!)
Beautiful painting! Love your ideas. Grow! Happy New Year.
Thanks Karen....the logs sound cosy but I'm sure your counting the minutes till the central heating is fixed. We're being thrashed with 90 mile hour winds at the moment...third gale in a month wee bit scary!
Thanks for the lovely comment Suzanne hping it's a good New Year for you :)
The the fields! So peaceful and inviting!
It suddenly turned winter (has been very mild so far) 12 degrees last night. Shouldn't last too long, this is the south after all ;)
Glad you like it Gail...hope it doesn't get too cold for you....
Lovely painting, I too feel the need for summer colours.
Thanks Gillian hopefully the weather will soon pick up and be a little brighter...
