HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY

Sorry this is the closest to a shamrock I could find....smile. I always feel that of all the patron saints days St Patricks is shared generously by everyone whether your Irish or not. An excuse to party. The last four days I've been enjoying the Cheltenham Festival along with the usual large contingent of Irish. Because St Patricks Day fell on a Saturday this year Thursday was dubbed St Patricks Thursday.....just another excuse to celebrate lol. Where ever you are in the world today I hope your enjoying the fun and the parades.
Getting back to Cheltenham it was an absolute joy to watch the Lucinda Russell trained Brindisi Breeze win the Albert Bartlett Stayers Hurdle. Always up at the front from start to finish, this not overly big fella was a pure joy to watch. Like a wee Thomas the Tank engine he steamed round the course popping the hurdles as if they weren't there...with a perfect 'engine' driver in Campbell Gillies. So well deserved for a dedicated hard working yard.
