I've got a new baby.......

...........or should I say a new Canon EOS 600d. Will take me a wee while to get used to it, the weight especially....better than dumb bells. My trusty wee Canon Power Shot hasn't been retired will still be taking some pretty awesome photos. New baby is just a wee step up in my learning curve, we were out today for a wee trial and it was very gentle with me. I think were are going to get on just fine...smile!

Nice photos, especially the last one. You will find the new camera to be more like a baby than you think--whenever I'm going out I have to debate whether or not I have it in me to tote the big camera and lens for the duration and not put it down (much like a baby) or leave it at home. At least the camera doesn't require a baby-sitter.

I remember when I got my Canon Rebel EOS XSi. Heavy and definitely smarter than I! I am ashamed to admit that I mostly use it with my 300mm and 500mm lenses or when polo is in town. Takes wonderful photos. I still use my Olympus sp-550uz the most and carry a compact olympus with me everywhere. :)

And for the most part the Canon is still much smarter than I :)

Still very much the baby stage Judy feeling a bit like a new Mum scared I'm going to drop it or do something terribly wrong. Makes you realise how fit these photographers are that run along taking photos with three or four bags hanging from their necks/shoulders :)

Linda at the moment they are cuddling up cosily together. But I know big baby will have a good home to go too if that changes lol
