Wounded soldier and a Giveaway painting

I have a wee wounded soldier in the household. Yesterday we needed a visit to Craig the vet after some gymnastic practice went wrong. A triple somersault backwards off the settee resulted in a badly damaged nail, an unbelieveable amount of blood and a supected fractured toe. I'd like to say he was a model patient for Craig but the phrase like handling a bag of snakes springs more to mind. Fortunately no fracture but the nail had to be removed and cauterized. The brave wee soldier is now basking on the added attention of more cuddles and treats. He did insist his bandage had to match his blankie....smile!

"Handling a bag of snakes". Have had a couple of cats like that. :)

Hope is doing better, and of course the bandage must match the blanket!

He's on the mend Gail dancing around like loony. Be different tomorrow when he has to go back to Craig to get his bandage off :)
