At long last I hear you all say, an actual painting. Been having something of a painter's block this past wee while. But, this morning this wee jewel just dripped of the brush. Perhaps we've hit a turn in the road and it'll all come back to me....fingers crossed. Or maybe like the rest of us I'm just hankering for a bit more green and maybe a flower or two.

I really love the freshness of this! I can just hear the buzz of summer ...

Actually it looks a bit like our back yard right about now ... the grass is up to Matilda's chest; I guess I'd better get out and give it a good mow before long!

We have been having awful weather and I needed to paint this to bring some hope of summer to come. Our grass has been burnt by the cold wind but today we had rain. Hopefully that will boost everything into a growth spurt!
