Yesterday I took my paintings down to a rather wet Rozelle Park for the Ayrshire Showcase Exhibition at the Maclaurin Galleries. The exhibition is hanging in Gallery 1 (22 October - 19 November) anyone living in the area please pop in for a look. I'm exhibiting with two other Ayrshire based artists Dorothy Fisher and Dede Morton. Gallery 1 is also home to the Maclaurin's shop and it is cheerfully ladened with all things Christmassy. I know October might be a bit early to start thinking about Christmas but Christmas decorations and ornaments make me feel nostalgic at  virtually anytime of the year

This wee cutie is the newest addition to the family, Lily, a four year old pomeranian. I picked her up on Sunday, she really is itsy bitsy teeny weeny and a wee bit shy. Now Wednesday and she's coming out of her shell a bit but it will take time but you can see for yourself she's making herself comfortable :)

Lovely exhibit! I hope some will sell for you also!

So what does Buddy think about the new one?

Thanks Gail....

Buddy was a little boistrous too begin with but he's calmed down and they're playing nice now. Though he pushes in if I make a fuss of her. Spike is to old to care now one way or the other and she doesn't really bother with him. Animals are better at sensing these things than us mere humans.

Thanks Debs she's starting to get a little braver. It's also nice to have a little more girl power in the house lol
