Too much heat....

It's way too warm today again. Finding it very difficult to paint because of the heat, so tomorrow I'll have to have a look for a fan. Meanwhile a nice summery meadow for you to look at, without the risk of heatstroke....smile!

A beautiful scene and I hope you'll be able to get out and do some painting soon. When it gets hot and humid here in northern Virginia, I tend to wilt like our flowers.

Thanks Denise I am blessed with the surrounding countryside which is a continual inspiration. We really aren't used to this heat in Scotland and I'm longing for a break in the weather....smile!

A fan is a wonderful thing. I have one up in the studio (I do have an air conditioner there as well but don't like to use it more than necessary), and in summer I have one in the bedroom that directs air towards me as I sleep. There's something about moving air that really helps us cool down. Hot here, and humid, which we're not used to.

Very humid here too Judy and we aren't used to that either. My mother used to have a wee hand held fan and we used to make jokes at her expense about it....could sure use it now :)
