"Early Dark" Acrylic 6" x 6"

"Early Dark"
Acrylic 6" x 6"

Early Dark, another one that hasn't photographed as well as I would have liked the blues aren't quite as blue in the flesh. Earlier dark, another sign that Autumn is creeping silently upon us. That and the cool mornings and chilly nights. Not quite suffering from the winter blues yet as Autumn has to be one, if not my most favourite of the season's. Hedgerows hanging with berries, hawthorns a red blaze with fruit. Golden fields, some still to be cut and others with row upon row of bales. Gosh where has the year gone, come Monday we will be into September. Soon the garden will need help for it's long sleep until next Spring.
"Autumn burned brightly, a running flame through the mountains, a torch flung to the trees." ~Faith Baldwin

no surprise that this looks so like Nova Scotia, what with being the model for that province :D
I am also bemoaning the changing of the light and the earlier darkness.
