13 - "Summer Greens" Acrylic 6" x 6"

"Summer Greens"
Acrylic 6" x 6"
Theres a stream runs through the field at the bottom of Busbiehill leading onto Southook Road. In the winter you can actually see the water but come Summer the bank's are overgrown with nettles, grasses and some wild flowers. This spot has a large hawthorn bush not quite a tree yet but getting there. I like it when it's brimming over with every shade of green. Quite difficult capturing them all.
Nice drive to Kilbarchan this morning. The countryside is positively bursting with foliage but it won't be long before it starts to slowly change pace and colour as the growing season starts to wane.
Thanks for stopping by...
