These appeared on my facebook profile this morning as a down memory lane thing that fb has started. I shared them with my facebook friends on this day in 2013. I had written on the post "Been a long time coming but suddenly everything is green". Well I have to say it's been pretty green for some time now but if I were writing it today it would be "can we have some heat please". Tomorrow is the first day of Summer and it's freezing and according to the weather man it's not going to get much better with rain and wind forecast....cheer me up why don't you!
Stay warm and dry wherever you are and look back soon, new paintings in the works...

"Blue Moon Rising"
Acrylic 12" x 12"
Managed to finish off yesterday's work in progress and get a better photograph of it this morning. Colour is still not quite right but can't get it any closer. This one will be heading down to Troon come Wednesday to be framed. It will be taking part in the Framework Gallery's 25th year anniversary in June.

Been struggling a bit with my work so decided to step back and away from the easel and give myself some breathing space. Then this afternoon I had a wee hankering to throw some paint around. Not finished and not an ideal time of the evening to photograph it, but feeling a bit pleased with myself and how it's coming along, so thought I'd share.
I'll be taking it slowly over the next few weeks and months but hope that won't disrupt your viewing and you will continue to pop in from time to time to see what I've been doing. The title of this one is going to have moon in it somewhere. So you can guess what's still to come....
Have a super holiday weekend and thanks for looking....smile!

Lovely day here, plenty of sunshine but have to say not very warm with a cold breeze. Some photos from the garden. The tulips are starting to drop their petals but still one or two standing straight, the pansies are throwing out flowers willy nilly. The gruesome twosome are also making the most of the daylight hours.....smile!
