Exhibiting at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre

"Fields of Summer"
Acrylic 6" x 6"

"Fields of Summer" above is one of ten paintings that headed up to Pitlochry with me yesterday to the Pitlochry Festival Theatre for a group exhibition in the foyer and restaurant of this beautiful theatre. Considering the dreadful weather that has been pretty constant this winter, it turned out quite glorious. Countryside was a bit sparse but there were subtle changes afoot if you took the time to look. After delivering my work and catching up with Margaret ( been seven years since I last was there, too long) who is in charge of all the art that's hung, Buddy, Lilly and I had a wee look around.

Road to the Scottish Power Hydro dam and fish ladders. Because the dam blocks the path of the salmon coming home to spawn, fish ladders were installed and they travel up them without any problems.

You have a wonderful entry for the show. It looks like a great place to be.
