Still in the garden...

Punk Rocking Starling

Wee Lilly glowing in the Sun

Lavatera getting ready to blossom

This wee blackbird has caused quite a stir over the last few days. The only survivor of a nest of hatchlings in a neighbours garden it's parents have been hiding and feeding it amongst my shrubs and trees. Every morning when I come down stairs I watch eagerly from the window hoping it will still be there. The parents are doing an amazing job against all the odds in getting this fledgling to a point where it can look after itself. Got to keep our fingers crossed for a wee while yet...smile!
