Summer Solstice

Been one of those days today when everything I planned scattered to the wind. So instead of a follow on of the wee foal here's a selection of photos. The garden has been blessed with a variety of birds and it's so lovely to follow the baby chick's progress.
Top is of course my wee golden boy Buddy, he and Lilly adore being out in the garden. Second is an adult sparrow having a wee drink and wondering if she should have a wee dook in the birdbath. Third is a baby starling wandering in the grass. Fourth is my darling BB one of three young blackbirds that found themselves prematurely out of their nest when a neighbours trees got raided, most likely by a cat. Fifth another young starling making an awful racket trying to convince it's Mum of how hungry it is. And last but not least the Strawberry Solstice Moon, looks more peachy than strawberry but that could be the cloud coverage. Hopefully it might be clearer tomorrow before dawn.
Well time to hit the sack wishing a blessed Summer Solstice x
